UCP certified firms

To participate in the DBE Program, a firm must become certified. The certification process starts by requesting a certification application from an equal employment opportunity/labor compliance coordinator at the nearest transportation regional office.

The Civil Rights Compliance System (CRCS) is a relatively new Web-based application for WisDOT and its many partners throughout the state and nation. The link to the system below will present you with one of four actions to take.

1. Access to the new UCP Directory is available! You may learn about participating firms in one of these ways:

  • Select a geographic area served
  • Select some specific North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes (choose a 2-digit code) then check more
  • Specific codes within that category, (based on the descriptions), or
  • Some combination of the above
  • Change nothing and select all firms by NAICS code
  • Working with NAICS codes may take some getting used to

2. If you are more accustomed to selecting UCP firms with one of these queries such as name of firm or by specific categories of work such as construction, suppliers, trucking, etc. then your firm should be registered and you should use step 5 below.

3. If your firm takes out construction plans, bids or is a subcontractor on a project, or applies for certification in the UCP program, then it should be registered in our database. In exchange, you will have access to the contact information for every registered firm. See step 5.

4. Access CRCS and click on the button labeled "Registration." Your firm need only register once.

5. Access CRCS. Assuming your firm is registered, then click on the button labeled "Login." Once logged on, click on "Report," then "Bidder's List."

If you have questions about this application, please contact Tess Mulrooney.
