What's new

North Carolina State University's Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) has a web page for their wildlife, fisheries, transportation gateway, WFT Gateway
that showcases the research and publications of a variety of researchers and agencies including the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other state DOT span highways.

Safety issue

The WisDOT Internet site concerning the dangers of wild parsnip is particularly relevant at this time of year as we enter field season. Exposure to these "fire plants" can produce very painful symptoms.
