Getting TraCS 

To obtain TraCS, law enforcement agencies must:

  • Complete a Traffic and Criminal Software Application (TraCS) - Form MV3734 MS Word
  • Complete a TraCS Sub User's License - Form MV3744 MS Word
  • Complete a Uniform Traffic Citation Number Agreement - Form MV3749 MS Word (only if you plan on processing citations using TraCS)

Send completed applications and form(s) to:

Citations & Withdrawals Section

Madison, WI  53707-7917

WisDOT's Citations & Withdrawals Section will review and sign the paperwork. Instructions for downloading the production software will be sent to you when the following are received:

  1. Receipt of your application
  2. Signed TraCS Sub Users License
  3. Completion of required training.
