Issued to rental companies by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Motor Carrier Services Section as set forth in Wis. Admin. Code Trans 175 Sec. 175.03. Each rental company, before engaging in such business must file an application and secure an identifying registration number.
