Rental agreement

If a carrier operates a rented vehicle, a copy of the rental agreement must be carried in the vehicle as set forth in Wis. Admin. Code Trans 175 Sec. 175.04(e).

A rental agreement must be written and signed; provide for the exclusive possession, control and use of the motor vehicle involved; specify the time the rental agreement begins and the time it ends and method of determining the compensation. The rental agreement must be prepared in triplicate and one copy must be carried in each vehicle.
