Safe Routes to School - Applications

The SRTS 2013-2014 application cycle is now closed. Award notification is tentatively planned for August 2012.

Beginning with the projects awarded in 2010, local sponsors constructing projects requiring a LLC must attend a one-day training session. The training session instructs sponsors on the local letting process and results in certification to administer and deliver these projects. The updated Sponsor's Guide (January 14, 2011) and the Certification form are available below. The third document provides clarification on administrative functions local sponsors are expected to fund 100% locally.

Certification sessions will be held in September/October 2012 for projects awarded in August 2012. The presentation slides (448 KB) from the 2010 certification trainings are available to download.
