Public information meeting set for WIS 83 project in Waukesha County

The community is invited to attend another public meeting on Thursday, March 1 to discuss proposed improvements on WIS 83 in Waukesha County. This informal open-house meeting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the town of Mukwonago Town Hall. The town hall is located near the intersection of County EE and Beulah Road and the address is W320 S8315 Beulah Road, Mukwonago.

WisDOT is proposing to reconstruct/expansion WIS 83 from County NN (Mukwonago) to WIS 59. Construction is expected to start in spring 2011.

WisDOT is in the data collection stage of this project. The main objective of the meeting is to present updated project information and collect additional project-related information from area residents. A comment sheet will be provided at the meeting.

The project team will be available to answer specific questions and concerns. An information sheet will be provided describing the project schedules and preliminary project concepts.

The Town Hall is wheel chair accessible. Persons unable to attend this meeting may address questions or comments to the following individuals:
