US 51/WIS 29 lane, ramp closure planned

Crews plan to close the southbound passing lane of US 51/WIS 29 (between County NN and Sherman Street) and the Sherman Street on-ramp beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, through Tuesday, April 24.

“The closures are necessary to pour the Rib River bridge deck and are highly dependent on favorable weather conditions Tuesday morning,” explained Michael Baumann, WisDOT project leader. “ Early morning precipitation could result in the delay or rescheduling of the closures.”

If crews are able to proceed with the deck pour, motorists can expect to encounter delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
