Amery traffic signals to become operational

August 16, 2007

Temporary traffic signals installed at the intersection of WIS 46 and Griffin Street in Amery will become operational next week.

The signals are scheduled to be placed in “flashing mode” August 23 to allow motorists to become familiar with the changes in the intersection. Traffic on WIS 46 will have a flashing yellow light, and traffic on Griffin Street will have flashing red lights.

The lights will become fully operational the week of August 28.

Permanent signals and intersection improvements are scheduled for construction next spring.
