WIS 29 project in Clark County kicks off next week

Construction begins Monday (August 20) on a $954,000 contract to make improvements to WIS 29 in Clark County.
Chippewa Concrete Services will replace badly deteriorated asphaltic pavement with concrete pavement at the WIS 29 and County E interchange in Curtiss.
Construction is scheduled through November 2. WIS 29 will remain open to one lane in each direction through the construction zone.
Federal transportation funds will pay 80 percent of the project costs with state transportation funds paying the remaining 20 percent.
