Traffic alert: Road closures scheduled in Kenosha County

Due to flooding, road closures will occur on westbound WIS 50 at the Fox River in Kenosha County, announced the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). Traffic will be detoured on northbound WIS 75 to westbound WIS 142 into Burlington, then southbound on WIS 83 back to WIS 50.

Motorists on I-94, planning to proceed on WIS 50 west of Paddock Lake, are encouraged to exit at WIS 142.

Closures will remain in effect until the water has receded. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays.
