August 23, 2007
Construction suspended for Packers game, Ducks Unlimited festival
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Regional office at Green Bay has some good news for people attending events in northeast Wisconsin this week. Travelers will find all lanes open on I-43 and US 41 to accommodate traffic for the Packers game on Thursday, August 23 and the Ducks Unlimited Great Outdoors Festival taking place August 24 through August 26 in Oshkosh. Construction barrels are being rolled back and these highways will remain completely open through Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Brown counties for I-43 and Fond du Lac, Winnebago, Outagamie and Brown counties for US 41.
Currently, there is one major project taking place on US 41 between County OO in Fond du Lac County and and WIS 26 in Winnebago County. For that project, all northbound US 41 lanes will be open at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, with all southbound lanes opening by 7 p.m. that day. All lanes will remain open until Monday, August 27.
