Closures scheduled tomorrow in Wausau

Crews plan to close the on-ramp from Marathon County NN to northbound US 51/WIS 29 tomorrow (8/29) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The closure is necessary for the installation of an overhead sign. During the closure motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

Crews plan to close Bridge Street at the 17th Avenue intersection tomorrow (8/29) from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. During the closure Bridge Street traffic will be detoured via Stevens Drive, Wausau Avenue and 10th Avenue. The closure is necessary for paving operations.  Drivers will be able to travel north and south through the 17th Avenue/Stevens Drive intersection.
