The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Statewide Traffic Operations Center (STOC) will be moving

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Statewide Traffic Operations Center (STOC) will be moving from the current location at 633 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203.  The new location will be in the Milwaukee Multi-Modal facility at 433 W. St. Paul Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53233.  This relocation will be taking place in September 2007.

From Friday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m., to Monday, September 10 at 6:00 a.m., there will be no traveler information services available.  This includes: freeway camera images, travel times, incident information, and other services.  For emergency notification to the STOC during the relocation, please call (414) 750-1542.  If WisDOT maintains your network connection, it will be restored with other services by Monday, September 10.

The Statewide Incident Notification System (SINS) will remain in operation during the move.

WisDOT is committed to continuing freeway video and data services for the media and the traveling public after this move.  The lapse in services was timed to be the least disruptive to normal traveler information service usage.

Several informational meetings have been held with agencies responsible for their own network connections.  If you are responsible for your own network connection and have not attended any meetings, or do not have a plan for reconnection after the move, please contact Paul Kutz as soon as possible at (414) 559-1368, or pkutz@hntb.com.
