WisDOT would like to talk to you about roundabouts

September 21, 2007

Speakers will provide information and tips to help drivers navigate the new De Pere roundabout

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) regional office at Green Bay is again offering its services and willing to provide presentations on how to navigate the new multi-lane roundabout in De Pere, as well roundabouts in general.  Groups and organizations interested in such a presentation are encouraged to contact Kim Rudat, NE Region Communications Manager, at (920) 492-5743 or e-mail kim.rudat@dot.state.wi.us.  WisDOT will tailor its presentation to the needs of the group making the request.

Informational brochures and posters have been distributed to libraries in De Pere, Ashwaubenon, and Green Bay, the city of De Pere’s offices, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and are available online at www.dot.wisconsin.gov/projects/d3/claude/construction.htm.   All businesses in De Pere were sent brochures to share with employees and customers.  People may also obtain brochures and posters at the De Pere City Clerk’s Office, located at 335 S. Broadway in De Pere, (920) 339-4050 or by contacting Kim Rudat at WisDOT’s NE Regional Office.

The city of De Pere plans to celebrate the opening of the Claude Allouez bridge with a daylong festival October 6.
