MEDIA ADVISORY: Officials to cut the ribbon on WIS 60 project in Washington County

State and local officials will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate recent completion of the WIS 60 (Sumner Street) construction project in the city of Hartford.

This project supports Governor Jim Doyle's “Grow Wisconsin” initiative to invest in our state’s infrastructure to promote economic development and job growth throughout Wisconsin. The event marks the project's completion and recognizes partners who contributed to the project’s success.
The ceremony will be celebrated in conjunction with the Hartford High School homecoming parade. Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Secretary Frank Busalacchi is scheduled to speak, along with WisDOT Southeast Region Director Dewayne Johnson and city of Hartford Mayor Scott Henke.
