Traffic alert: Lane and ramp closures scheduled in Milwaukee County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing lane and ramp closures in Milwaukee County. Crews will be performing routine maintenance at the following locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Tuesday, October 9:

• US 45 southbound from Good Hope Road to Appleton Avenue - Double lane
• US 45 southbound on-ramp at Good Hope Road

Wednesday, October 10:

• US 45 southbound from Burleigh Street to Center Street - Double lane
• US 45 southbound on-ramp at Burleigh Street
• I-43 northbound from Bender Road to Green Tree Road - Single lane
• I-43 northbound on-ramp at Silver Spring Drive

Work is weather-dependant.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect delays.
