Hall Avenue meeting to focus on conceptual design alternatives.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Regional Office in Green Bay is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the reconstruction of Hall Avenue (WIS 64) in the city of Marinette. The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Best Western Riverfront Inn, 1821 Riverside Avenue, Marinette.  A short presentation will be made at 5:15 p.m.

The proposed project consists of reconstructing Hall Avenue from Roosevelt Road to State Street.  Improvements include replacing deteriorating pavement and reconstructing the Roosevelt Road/WIS 180 intersection to improve safety and traffic operations.  Additional improvements include storm sewer and street lighting replacement.  Construction is currently scheduled to begin in the spring of 2010.
