Second public meeting planned for WIS 165 project in Kenosha County

Planned improvements to WIS 165 (104th Street) in the village of Pleasant Prairie in Kenosha County will be discussed at a public information meeting scheduled Wednesday, March 29, announced the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).
The open-house meeting will be held in the Village Hall Auditorium, 9915 39th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be a short video presentation on roundabout intersections shown at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
The WIS 165 project stretches from WIS 31 to WIS 32. The purpose of this project is to preserve the corridor for future highway improvements. Exhibits showing planned highway improvements will be on display. This is a planning study project and construction is not yet scheduled. The project team will be available to answer questions and discuss the project until 7:30 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to make written or verbal comments regarding the proposed alternatives during the meeting.
