Construction under way on County E overpass at I-94 in Jefferson County

Overpass will be closed during construction

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Regional Office in Madison is announcing that work has begun on 0.144 miles of County E overpass in Jefferson County.

The project will consist of bridge deck replacement including minor approach work and new beam guard with energy absorbing materials.

The County E Overpass will be closed during construction and County E traffic will be detoured onto County P and County B. There will be night closures of I-94 as needed, Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The project is scheduled for completion on May 23, 2008.
