WIS 23 reconstruction in Lake Delton begins March 10

The reconstruction of WIS 23 in Lake Delton will resume on or about March 10. Work will take place along a 1.25-mile stretch between the intersection of County P and US 12. WIS 23 will be closed to through traffic in each direction. The detour route for WIS 23 through traffic will utilize I-90/94 and US 12. The roadway will be open to local traffic, and access to businesses will be maintained.

The $4.4 million project will reconstruct WIS 23 into a four-lane urban roadway.

Completion is projected for June 30, 2008.

An open house format informational meeting on the project will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Kay Mackesey Administration Building, 50 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South. The public is invited to attend.
