WisDOT schedules Business 51 (Post Road) public information meeting on April 8
March 26, 2008
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public information meeting to discuss Business 51 (Post Road), between WIS 54 and Minnesota Avenue. Local officials, property owners and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Plover Municipal Center, 5400 Post Road, Plover, on Tuesday, April 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The meeting will follow an open house format. No formal presentation is scheduled.
The purpose of the meeting is to present information to the public about WisDOT’s selected preferred alternative for this segment of Business 51 and to obtain feedback regarding the alternative. Although the project is not currently scheduled for construction, local officials will be able to use the results of this study when making decisions regarding land use along Business 51.
All citizens with concerns, as well as those with historical knowledge which may assist in the development of this project, are encouraged to attend and/or contact project personnel.
