WisDOT schedules WIS 13 public information meeting April 9

Construction scheduled to begin in May

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public information meeting for the upcoming reconstruction of WIS 13 (Fourth Street) between Linden Street and Pine Street in the city of Abbotsford.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at the Abbotsford City Hall, 203 North First Street, from 4 to 6 p.m. The meeting will follow an open house format. No presentation is scheduled. WisDOT staff will be available to answer questions.

In addition to the reconstruction of the roadway, the project includes sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer improvements. Street lighting and traffic signals will be replaced. Crews will also install new concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk.

WIS 13 will remain open to traffic during construction, using flagging operations.

Construction is expected to begin in early May and is scheduled for completion by November 2008.
