Traffic alert: Ramp and lane closures scheduled on I-43 in Milwaukee County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing that on Saturday, March 29, I-43 southbound will be closed from Canal Street to National Avenue in Milwaukee County from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., as crews will be performing bridge maintenance. One lane of traffic will remain open, as the two right lanes will be closed during that period.

In addition, the National Avenue off ramp will be closed during that time.

Work is weather-dependent.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead.
