Public meeting set for April 16 for freeway conversion study of US 151, Dodge County

The study to convert US 151 in Dodge County from expressway to freeway will be the topic of a public meeting Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the Beaver Dam American Legion building, 300 Beichl Avenue. The open house meeting will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. with a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will introduce the study and solicit input from residents living on or near the highway corridor. The two-year study will focus on US 151 between WIS 73 north of Columbus and WIS 49 at Waupun.
A variety of exhibits and maps will be on display at the information meeting and representatives
from WisDOT will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The public is
encouraged to attend to review the proposed improvements and discuss any concerns they might have.
The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible. Hearing impaired persons needing
assistance may call the WisDOT TDD number, (608) 261-8200, available Monday through Friday from
7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Calls can also be placed through the Wisconsin Telecommunication Relay
System at 1-800-947-3529. To allow time for arranging assistance, please call no later than
three working days prior to the meeting.
