McCleary Bridge closures planned

Crews plan to close the McCleary Bridge on the following days:

• Thursday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The bridge will reopen to one lane of traffic in each direction after 3 p.m. each day. No signed detour will be provided during the closures.

Crews recently completed the repairs to the east side of pier number one. The upcoming closures are necessary so crews can set girders. Once this process is complete, crews will begin work on forming the bridge deck.

Construction-related traffic impacts are subject to change and are dependent on favorable weather conditions.
