Reduced weekday speed limits begin Monday, April 28 in I-39/90/94 work zone

Speed limits will be reduced in the I-39/90/94 work zone starting Monday, April 28. The speed limit will be 55 mph on weekdays, 5 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Friday.
The speed limit will be 65 mph on weekends, 6 a.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
The work zone is located on the Interstate between the Badger Interchange and County V, DeForest. Crews are constructing median barrier walls.
Speed limits will be enforced by the Wisconsin State Patrol. Motorists are reminded to slow down and that fines are doubled for violations in work zones.
The project is scheduled for completion November 1, 2008.
