Crews closing I-39/US 51 southbound lanes Thursday

Traffic will be detoured via County DB and County X

Crews plan to close the southbound lanes of I-39/US 51 between Portage County DB and County X on Thursday, May 1 at 8 p.m. The lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. on Friday, May 2.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured via County DB and County X.

The closure is necessary so crews can work on the new US 10 west bridge over the interstate.

The dates and times of the lane closure are dependent on favorable weather conditions and are subject to change.
