Construction project to begin May 5 in Sawyer County

Lane restrictions planned

Improvements to WIS 70 in Sawyer County are set to begin Monday, May 5, 2008. Motorists traveling in the area can expect lane closures on the highway from WIS 27 to County W throughout the duration of the re-paving project.

Beginning Monday, the highway will be open to through traffic, with moving, single lane closures during the daytime hours. There will be no construction planned Memorial Day weekend. The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2.
