Construction project to begin May 5 in Baldwin

Lane restrictions planned

Improvements to WIS 63 through Baldwin are set to begin Monday, May 5, 2008. Motorists traveling in the area can expect lane closures from 55th Avenue - US 12 and from US 12 - 80th Street throughout the duration of the project.

Beginning Monday, the highway will be open to through traffic with single lane closures handled by flagging crews. The project is scheduled to be complete by July 18, 2008.

The project will include replacing the existing pavement, adding curb and gutter, new traffic control signals and new pavement markings.
