WIS 154 bridge in Sauk County now open to traffic
May 7, 2008
Replacement of the WIS 154 Narrows Creek Bridge, damaged by heavy rains and flooding late last summer, has been completed. The new bridge is open to traffic.
The bridge was closed September 18, 2007, after flooding damage to one of the piers and others factors required total replacement. The 144-foot span was first built in 1949.
Construction to replace the span began January 2, 2008.
The bridge is located 5.4 miles east of the junction of WIS 154 and WIS 130 in the Town of Westfield.
