Weight restrictions lifted on North Central Region highways

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) North Central Region today announced the lifting of seasonal weight limits on some of the region’s state highways. The weight restrictions will be lifted effective Monday, May 12, 2008 on the following highways:

  • WIS 169, Iron County, Ashland County line to US 2
  • WIS 122, Iron County, WIS 77 to the Michigan State line
  • WIS 55, Forest County, Argonne to the Michigan State line
  • WIS 52, Forest County, Langlade County line to Smith Road
  • WIS 52, Langlade County, WIS 55 to the Forest County line
  • WIS 153, Shawano County, Marathon County line to US 45

Weight restrictions on the following highways were lifted on Monday, May 5, 2008:

  • WIS 107, Lincoln County, Marathon County line to WIS 64
  • WIS 107, Lincoln County, Mathew’s Road to Lincoln County S
  • WIS 153, Marathon County, Marathon County J to Shawano County M
  • WIS 107, Marathon County, Marathon County A to the Lincoln County line
