WIS 78 reconstruction set to begin May 16

The reconstruction of WIS 78 between Blanchardville and Dane County H will begin Friday, May 16, 2008.

WIS 78 will be closed to through traffic for the six-mile project. The posted detour route is County F and County A.

Project work includes grading, storm sewer and culverts, curb and gutter, and permanent signing. The current phase of the project is scheduled for completion November 1, 2008.

Final work on the project will take place in spring 2009.
