Commercial Vehicle Restrictions Modifications

Effective at sunrise Sunday, June 15, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is revising its suspension of permits for oversize and overweight vehicles. The change will allow permits to be valid north of and on a line extending from:

  • LaCrosse east along Interstate Route 90 to Interstate Route 94 near the City of Tomah;
  • North on Interstate Route 94 to State Highway 21;
  • East on State Highway 21 to Interstate Route 39 near the Village of Coloma;
  • North on Interstate Route 39 to State Highway 10 at Stevens Point; and
  • East on State Highway 10 to Manitowoc.

Vehicles moving to provide relief supplies, assist in flood abatement, and respond for emergency services continue to be exempt from permit suspension.
