Construction to start July 9 on US 10/WIS 310 in Manitowoc County

US 10/WIS 310 ramps to be closed
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) NE Regional Office at Green Bay is announcing that construction is now scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 9 on the US 10/WIS 310 between County P and County R., including the on and off ramps at I-43.
The project involves concrete pavement repair and placing an asphalt overlay on the US 10/WIS 310 roadway, and concrete joint repairs and diamond grinding the on and off ramps at I-43 to provide a smoother riding surface. US 10/WIS 310 between County P and County R and the ramps at I-43 will be closed during construction.
The detour route for US 10 will be US 10 (Waldo Boulevard) to County R, east to County P, and north to US 10. The detour route for WIS 310 to I-43 will be County R south to US 10 (Waldo Boulevard), north to I-43.
Reconstruction of the intersection of WIS 310/County R as a roundabout is scheduled for 2009 and
replacement of the existing Branch River bridge on US 10 is scheduled to occur in 2012.
Project cost is estimated at $1.6 million and is scheduled for completion by the end of
August 2008.
