Governor approves WIS 93 highway improvement project in Trempealeau County
July 11, 2008
As part of his ongoing “Grow Wisconsin” initiative to invest in Wisconsin’s infrastructure and stimulate our state’s economy, Governor Jim Doyle has signed a $2 million contract to resurface WIS 93 from Swenson Lane to Blaschko Avenue.
The Kraemer Company LLC is the contractor for the project. This project includes milling and overlaying, base patching, and beam guard terminal upgrading.
Construction is scheduled for July 2008 through October 2008. The project will be completed under traffic. The contractor will use traffic control for moveable operations, flaggers, and temporary lane closures to complete the required work. There will be delays as work progresses.
Federal transportation funds will pay 80 percent of the project costs, with state transportation funds paying the remaining 20 percent.
