Public meeting July 30 for I-94 improvements in Jefferson County

Upcoming improvements to I-94 in Jefferson County will be previewed at a public meeting Wednesday, July 30 at the Johnson Creek Village Hall, 125 Depot Street. The open house meeting will be held from 6 - 8 p.m.

Nighttime lane closures will begin next week on a ten-mile section of I-94 between the junctures of Airport Road and County Y in Jefferson County.  The project includes pavement repairs and bridge modifications at the County Q, Ziebel Road, and County N overpasses. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2008.

Exhibits and maps will be on display at the informational meeting and representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible.
