Public information meeting Nov. 20 for WIS 75 project in Kenosha and Racine counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing a public information meeting to discuss improvements to WIS 75 between WIS 50 and WIS 11 in Kenosha and Racine counties.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the public on the project concepts and schedule, present preliminary plans and obtain public input. A handout summarizing the project concepts and schedule will be provided, as well as a comment sheet that can be used for additional public input.
The meeting will be an "open-house" format. Displays will be available for review and there will be a presentation at 5:30 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. The project team will be available to provide information and answer questions.
Brighton Elementary School is wheelchair accessible. Citizens who are hearing-impaired may request an interpreter by contacting Traci Gengler by Nov. 14, 2008 via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dial 711). Persons unable to attend may send their questions or comments to:
