Stillwater Lift Bridge open house scheduled for Feb. 5

The Stillwater Lift Bridge Advisory Committee and the Minnesota (MnDOT) and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation (WisDOT) are hosting a public open house meeting on the Historic Stillwater Lift Bridge Management Plan and Repair Project.

The management plan and repair project are intended to rehabilitate and preserve the Stillwater Lift Bridge for eventual conversion to pedestrian and bicycle use. The conversion is part of the improvements planned in coordination with the new St. Croix River Crossing.

MnDOT, WisDOT and consultant staff will be on hand to address questions and share information about the plans. Comment cards will also be provided for attendees to submit written statements. There will be no formal presentations.
