I-39/Maple Ridge Road interchange public information meeting Feb. 18

Information also available regarding this year’s reconstruction of the Bull Junior Creek bridges

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public information meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the I-39/Maple Ridge Road interchange, located in the village of Kronenwetter. WisDOT representatives will also provide information regarding this summer’s reconstruction of the Bull Junior Creek bridges, located on I-39 in the village of Kronenwetter.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Village of Kronenwetter Municipal Building, 1582 Kronenwetter Drive. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m.  The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format. Local officials, property owners and other parties interested are encouraged to attend.

Information regarding the preliminary design of the I-39/Maple Ridge Road interchange will be available for review and comment. Reconstruction of the interchange is currently scheduled to begin in 2012.

WisDOT representatives will also provide information regarding traffic impact associated with this summer’s improvements to the Bull Junior Creek bridges, which are scheduled to begin in June 2009.

Written comments regarding the Maple Ridge Road interchange improvements can be mailed to Mark Steidl, WisDOT, 1681 Second Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495. Citizens who are hearing-impaired and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Mark Steidl at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay system (dial 711).
