Meeting to focus on proposed reconstruction of roadway between Hill Street and Austin Street

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region in La Crosse is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the reconstruction of WIS 27/Black River Street from Hill Street to Austin Street in the city of Sparta, Monroe County. The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2009 at 201 West Oak Street, Council Chambers of Sparta City Hall.

The meeting will be conducted as an informal open house.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
