Public meeting set for Mar. 2 for WIS 78 reconstruction - Sauk County

Meeting to focus on construction schedule, activities, access to homes and businesses during construction

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) SW Region will hold a public information meeting on the reconstruction of WIS 78 from Prairie du Sac through the village of Merrimac in Sauk County. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, Mar. 2, at the Merrimac Elementary School, 360 School Street, Merrimac.

The public is encouraged to attend. Representatives from WisDOT and contractors Relyco Inc. and A-1 Excavators will discuss the upcoming project and answer questions in an open house format. Construction is anticipated to begin in March and be completed by Nov. 25, 2009.
