Meeting to focus on receiving input on the design of the WIS 16 reconstruction project
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region in Waukesha is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the design of WIS 16 from the Oconomowoc Bypass to S. Concord Road in Jefferson and Waukesha counties. The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 4, 2009 at the Oconomowoc Public Library, in the Hiram A. Lyke Room, 200 South Street, Oconomowoc.
The purpose of the open house will be to receive the public’s input on the design of the WIS 16 reconstruction project, as well as to provide updated project information to area residents. This will include general information on project schedules, general project procedures (such as the final engineering process and the real estate process) and the current progress of the project’s design.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
