Oneida Street to close at WIS 172 in Green Bay - detour route established

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing Oneida Street at WIS 172 will be closed beginning Monday, Mar. 16 and will remain closed until July 2009. It will be closed near the bridge and local access will be maintained.

A detour route announced earlier has been modified to better accommodate traffic.  The posted detour is now Pilgrim Way, Holmgren Way, and Hanson Road. This closure is required to remove and replace the WIS 172 westbound structure over Oneida Street.

The Fox River Trail where it crosses WIS 172 will be closed the week of Mar. 9 - 14. This closure is necessary to allow crews to form the new Fox River bridge deck located directly above the trail.
