WisDOT to collect soil samples in Galesville in Trempealeau County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to collect soil samples for testing for the future replacement of the US 53 truss arch bridge over Beaver Creek in Galesville.

The sampling will take place the week of May 4. During the work, a temporary lane restriction along the northbound lane of US 53 near the bridge can be expected.

The work is expected to take three to four days, depending on the weather.
