Public meeting May 21 for US 45 Corridor Study

May 11, 2009

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public information meeting to discuss the US 45 Corridor Study.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday May 21, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Fox Valley Technical College, 525 South Main Street, Clintonville. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.  The remainder of the meeting will follow an informal open house format. Maps and exhibits will be on display and WisDOT representatives will be available to answer questions.

WisDOT is evaluating how the existing roadway is functioning and studying potential future transportation needs for the corridor. There are no proposed construction projects associated with this study. The purpose of the meeting is to present information to the public and to gather input regarding the current and future needs of this highway.

Citizens who are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, can contact the WisDOT Project Manager Cheryl Simon at (715) 365-5728. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to Cheryl Simon, WisDOT, 510 N. Hanson Lake Road, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
