I-39/US 51 lane closures in Portage, Waushara and Marquette counties in May

Crews are planning lane closures on I-39/US 51 in Portage, Waushara and Marquette counties throughout May for pavement marking operations.

Motorists can expect to encounter southbound lane closures between WIS 54 and WIS 21. Motorists will encounter northbound lane closures between the Marquette/Columbia County line and Waushara County O.

Work is scheduled to begin on May 14 and should be completed by May 29. No work will occur after 5 p.m. or on the weekends.

The work requires favorable weather conditions and is subject to change.
