WIS 22 in Oconto County closing May 18 - September

The closure begins Monday

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing WIS 22 in Oconto County will be closed from Elm Grove School Road to Cook Avenue beginning Monday, May 18. The road will remain closed until late September. Local access will be maintained.

This closure is part of the US 41 Oconto bypass project. The estimated cost for the 5-mile-long project (from Frog Pond Road to County S) is approximately $12.5 million. It is scheduled for completion in November.
