Construction starting May 26 on US 151 in Fond du Lac County

Road closing, but local access is being maintained

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing work is beginning on US 151 in Fond du Lac County on Tuesday, May 26. US 151 will be closed from County WH to the north Fond du Lac County Line.

The road is being detoured for the entire timeframe. One lane with flagging operations will be maintained for local access.

The $8 million project is 9.5 miles long and includes three structure reconstructions, resurfacing for seven miles, urban reconstruction for two and one half miles, curb and gutter, pipe replacement, and storm sewer construction. The project is scheduled for completion in October.

Motorists are advised to use caution when accessing businesses within this construction zone.
