Crews to complete pavement marking on US 12/Clairemont Avenue project this week

Pavement marking crews will complete their work on the US 12/Clairemont Avenue project this week.

Because cold weather set in at the completion of the project last fall, the pavement markings for portions of the project were postponed until this summer.

It will be a moving operation and motorists can expect single lane closures during the day and two-lane closures at night. They will begin in the eastbound lanes June 8. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks.

The $12 million dollar reconstruction project was completed in November 2008.
